This quilt was made by Sara Ellen Green as a young girl as part of her sewing "stint." This example of the Lemoyne Star pattern is done on an exquisitely small scale, all hand stitched. Information accompanying the donation of this quilt includes a story about the family children playing a game of counting the many tiny squares and diamonds which make up the pattern.
